Tarrazú La Pastora is a coffee developed by CoopeTarrazú, a well-recognized cooperative in San Marcos, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. CoopeTarrazú has more than 50 years of experience and tradition while working with more than 1,000 coffee producers from the surrounding communities in the Tarrazú region. The cooperative's main functions are to provide milling, marketing and export services to its Co-Op members.
This is a very balanced coffee with subdued acidity, mild sweetness and lush smooth cocoa notes on the finish. Flavors of pineapple and citrus up front are offset with a milk chocolate roundness that is a hallmark of the Tarrazú Costa Rican coffees.
